ECG’s Groundman Certificate Program offers the opportunity to attain the skills necessary
to become an Apprentice Lineworker. The program provides related technical instruction for
constructing, maintaining, and repairing the transmission and distribution network required
to deliver electric power to customers. The program covers topics related to construction,
maintenance, and operation of underground and overhead electrical systems. Low instructor-to-student ratios allow extra one-on-one coaching and mentoring from the ECG training staff.
The Groundman Certificate Program is scheduled for Monday, January 23rd thru Friday, January 27th at our Newnan Training Center. Please note class is from 1:00 to 4:00pm on Monday, 8:00am to 4:00pm Tuesday to Thursday and half day on Friday.
The CDC revised their guidance https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/index.html to maximize protection from the COVID-19 variants and prevent possible spreading to others. Effective immediately, ECG has reinstituted the use of masks for vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals at ECG facilities. Please come prepared to wear a mask while you are inside the classroom.
