PowerLine School

Having trained more than 1000 lineworkers, ECG presents one of the most comprehensive PowerLine Schools in the country. Our apprentice program is a U.S. Department of Labor certified Apprenticeship program requiring a 3-year commitment and 6,000 hours of on-the-job training. The program requires both physical and mental dedication, creating highly-skilled lineworkers to benefit your utility organization. ECG's PowerLine School includes the Groundman School, U.S. DOL Apprenticeship Program, Underground Line Locating/Fault Finding School and the Advanced Lineworker Program.

Training is held at our three training centers, one in Kissimmee Florida and two in Georgia located in Adel and Newnan. Each facility is well equipped with a large classroom, underground resources and an expansive pole yard to provide both in-class and field training to our students.

Our programs are designed to progress attendees through their career. The suggested career path utilizes classroom, home study and on-the-job training. The Career Progression Model illustrates an achievement path allowing your organization the opportunity to evaluate the employee's growth and aptitiude for advancement.
