MEAG Power

MEAG Power is a generation and transmission wholesale power supplier providing reliable, economical and dependable electric power supply to its 49 Georgia municipalities.  With 49 common communities, MEAG Power is an important partner with ECG in promoting competitive pricing, efficiencies and economies of scale to municipally-owned utilities.

Florida Municipal Power Agency 

Florida Municipal Power Agency (FMPA) is a wholesale power agency owned by municipal electric utilities. FMPA provides economies of scale in power generation and related services to support community-owned electric utilities in the State of Florida. ECG has partnered with FMPA to provide education, training and safety services to 12 of its 30 member communities.

Municipal Gas Authority of Georgia

The Municipal Gas Authority of Georgia (the Gas Authority) is the largest non-profit natural gas joint action agency in the United States, serving 76 Members in Georgia, Alabama, Florida, Pennsylvania and Tennessee. Many ECG communities operate natural gas systems and ECG has partnered with the Gas Authority's Subscribed Regulatory Compliance Service by providing use of the Hiperweb™ work order management system.

 

Hometown Connections

Hometown Connections is a utility services subsidiary of the American Public Power Association (APPA).  As a Hometown Connections sales affiliate, ECG works closely with Hometown Connections in evaluating the efficacy of their products and services as they relate to our core business.  Some of these services can provide cost-effective resources tailored for community-owned utility systems.  Read more....

Center for Energy Workforce Development

The Center for Energy Workforce Development (CEWD) was incorporated in March 2006 as a nonprofit organization to help ensure that the nation’s electric, natural gas, and nuclear energy companies have the workforce to meet the energy demands of tomorrow.  The mission of CEWD is to build the alliances, processes, and tools to develop tomorrow’s energy workforce.  Keith Bass, ECG President and CEO, was involved with CEWD in its infancy, attending the inaugural meeting held in Biloxi Mississippi in 2006. ECG recently worked with other Georgia CEWD members to host representatives from State Consortia providing a platform for them to share their work plans for encouraging people to "Get Into Energy".

GEICC is a partnership organization with the mission of engaging electric, nuclear, natural gas utilities and construction in strategic, unified, and results-oriented efforts to ensure a skilled workforce to meet future industry demands.
